The COSMOS of MogaDao is an annual tradition within the tradition: Part celebration, part interdisciplinary workshop, part reunion, part vocation fair, and part Village Testing (MogaDao’s communal certification testing), the COSMOS is a touch more relaxed than the intensities of the separate techne´ GALAXIES  and the 3-month certification immersion called the GUAN. This relatively relaxed atmosphere allows for the absorption of the comprehensive nature of the tradition, the gestalt of all of the techne´—how it all comes together. Once each year, for five days, the entire culture of the practices of MogaDao are brought together under one roof and the focus is the relationship among the disciplines. The COSMOS is taught primarily by MogaDao’s founder, Zhen Dao, which enables seasoned students and teachers to sharpen and refine their forms and perspectives, and new students have the chance to study directly with the creator of the MogaDao practices without making the 3-month commitment of the GUAN. At the COSMOS, brand-new and beginning students curious about MogaDao get the chance to meet and practice with seasoned practitioners, MogaDao teachers, and MogaDao Daoshen, exceptional teachers of all of the MogaDao techne´, the bearers of the gestalt of the tradition. At the COSMOS, MogaDao teachers give presentations and/or demonstrations, sharing how they are using the work of MogaDao in the world, effectively seeding to newer students a wide view of the medical, sociopolitical, spiritual, sexual,  physical, artistic, and psychological relevancies of MogaDao for their lives . Often, the COSMOS serves as the springboard into the deep study of MogaDao that profoundly shapes one’s person and the trajectory of one’s life.
